CCTV Cameras Stolen From Junior College Ahead Of +2 Exams

Puri: Two CCTV cameras were stolen from Brahmagiri Junior College in Puri district ahead of the +2 exams starting from Thursday. Following the incident, the Satapada police of Brahmagiri block has initiated a probe into the theft.

As per reports, two CCTV cameras were installed at the college premises by the administration in compliance with the directive issued by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha. However, the cameras were found missing on Wednesday morning.

It is being alleged that the CCTV cameras have been stolen by some criminals who barged into the college on late Tuesday night after vandalising the main gate. Meanwhile, a case has been registered against unidentified miscreants and the matter is being probed by the police.
