Attack on youths in Bhubaneswar: 8 arrested, weapons seized

There was an attack on two youths in Bhubaneswar airport, the airport police has arrested eight persons in this connection.

Bhubaneswar: There was an attack on two youths in Bhubaneswar airport, the airport police has arrested eight persons in this connection. Reports say that, the eight accused persons belong from Kedarpalli slum.

Also, the police have seized the weapon used in the attack. Among the arrested accused are Rajesh Naik, Malik Naik, Krishna Chandra Barik, Balabhadra, Akshay Behera, Aloy Das, Shivram Pradhan and Raka.

In a tragic incident, two youths were attacked by a group of miscreants within the vicinity of Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar. The incident took place at around 9:30 pm on Sunday, reliable reports confirmed. The injured individual, known by the alias Shiva, is notably associated with several registered cases with the police.

Reports from reliable sources state that a group of about 20-30 people attacked the youths at the airport square in Bhubaneswar. The exact reason behind the attack has not been ascertained yet. However, past enmity is being speculated.

The injured were immediately taken to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar for urgent medical assistance. Further investigation into the matter is underway. More details awaited.
