Bhubaneswar: The appointment of bouncer rules in Bhubaneswar have been changed by the Commissionerate police, said reports on Tuesday.

Reports say that, owners cannot keep bouncers in bars without the prior permission of the Commissionerate Police. The Commissioner of Police has issued instructions for the bars in the areas under the jurisdiction of the Commissionerate of Police, aid reports.

Further it is worth mentioning that, the bars cannot hire security guards personally. Security guards will be procured from recognized security agencies. The bar owner will notify the respective guards in writing.

The bouncers have to follow the prescribed rules and regulations after being employed in the bar. The deadline has been extended by up to two months. A strict warning has been given that action will be taken if the rules are not obeyed.
