Another 44 Covid patients recover in Odisha today

Bhubaneswar: As many as 44 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Odisha, informed the Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department on April 8. With this development the total Covid-19 recovered patients in Odisha have reached to 12,78,485.

The recovered patients are being discharged from various facilities across the state, informed the Health department through its official Twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were in Anugul district followed by Sambalpur and Khordha districts.

The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:

22 from Anugul

5 from Sambalpur

4 from Khordha

3 from Mayurbhanj

2 from Cuttack

2 from Jajapur

1 from Baleswar

1 from Deogarh

1 from Jharsuguda

1 from Rayagada

2 from State Pool

Odisha on Friday reported 22 new Covid cases including 4 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,87,823.

Reportedly, among the 22 positives, 14 patients are in quarantine, and 8 are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 208.

Khordha, Cuttack and Sambalpur recorded the highest with four positives followed by Balangir with two positives. One Covid positive case has been recorded in Balasore, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Jajpur, Nuapada, Sonepur, Sundargarh, and State Pool each.
