With 41 degrees Celsius temperature Boudh reports day’s highest temperature in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Boudh reported the day’s highest temperature in Odisha as it recorded 41.0 degrees Celsius today, informed the regional centre of India Meteorological Department.

The weatherman also informed that apart from Boudh, five places in the State also recorded temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius and above. The five places are Sonepur (40.4), Talcher (40.2), Baripada (40.0) and Angul (40.7).

Likewise, the mercury rose to 37.2 degrees Celsius in Bhubaneswar while Cuttack City sizzled at 36.5 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the Met department has predicted thunderstorms with lightning over Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Bargarh, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj and Boudh districts.
