In a shocking incident, it has been reported that a woman and her daughter were allegedly raped in Sundargarh of Odisha.
Sundargarh: In a shocking incident, it has been reported that a woman and her daughter were allegedly raped in Sundargarh of Odisha.
According to available reports, the brother-in-law of the woman has allegedly committed this heinous crime. In Sundargarh, after allegations of rape against a mother and daughter duo, the police have started an investigation.
The Sundargarh Police sent photos to all police stations of neighboring states of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and neighboring districts. Sundargarh SP said that there is no accurate information about the rape allegations with the police.
It is worth mentioning that, the initial investigation has been concluded. The SP informed that the precise information relating to the allegations of the rape in Sundargarh will come to the fore after further investigation and counselling of the victims.
The mother, who was rescued naked from the road, has accused her brother-in-law of misbehaving with her daughter also. The mother however could say say a few words while the girl was left speechless.
It is believed that their home is in Jharkhand. Two more daughters and a younger son at still at home. The woman has even accused the youth identified as Sunil of misbehaving with all the women in the family. Being unable to bear it, the mother left the house with the young daughter.
Investigation has been started as to under what circumstances both mother and daughter came to Sundergarh and who brought them here.
A team led by a woman officer went to Astha Home to record the woman’s statement and proceeded with the investigation. On the other hand, the official of Astha Home said that the health condition of the mother and the daughter is being monitored constantly.
It is worth mentioning that, on the October 6, a mother and daughter duo were spotted walking completely naked on the crowded college road of Sundergarh district.
