Administrator and litterateur Bijaya Nayak to get Kadambini Sahitya Samman 2024
Odisha’s noted administrator, litterateur and columnist Bijaya Nayak has been selected for the prestigious Kadambini Sahitya Samman 2024.
Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s noted administrator, litterateur and columnist Bijaya Nayak has been selected for the prestigious Kadambini Sahitya Samman 2024.
Nayak has been selected for the prestigious award by the Kadambini Sahitya Akademi Trust for his contribution to the field of literature. He will be presented during the Kadambini Sahitya Mahotsav and Kadambini Patrika Haat to be held at KIIT University on January 7.
It is to be noted here that the Kadambini Sahitya Samman (at state level) is bestowed on a person in recognition of his/her contribution to the field of Odia literature. The award carries a cash prize of rupees one lakh, emblem, shawl and certificate.
Meanwhile, founder of Kadambini Achyuta Samanta and Editor of Kadambini Iti Samanta have urged the literature lovers to visit the Kadambini Sahitya Mahotsav and Kadambini Patrika Haat.
