8-year-old dead, mother critical in road accident in Khurda
In a tragic incident, a 8-year-old has been killed and the mother has been critically injured in a road accident in Khurda.
Khurda: In a tragic incident, a 8-year-old has been killed and the mother has been critically injured in a road accident in Khurda district of Odisha.
According to reliable reports in this matter, the scooter being driven by the mother dashed with an oil tanker in a road accident in Khurda.
It is worth mentioning that, the mother was getting the child back from home, when the incident occurred near the Bhaliabadi police station limits in Khurda.
The child died on the spot and the mother was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition. Since the condition of the woman deteriorated, she was shifted to a hospital in the capital city of Bhubaneswar.
The police has reached the spot and is investigating into the matter. The body of the minor boy has been sent for postmortem. Detailed reports awaited in this case.
