50 percent hike in daily and retainer fees of law officers in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government declared that the Daily and Retainer Fees of Non-Cadre Law Officers handling litigation in various courts have been increased by 50 percent. This will benefit 1,215 Law Officers working in various courts. 

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has increased the Daily and Retainer Fees of Law Officers of the state. According to this increased fees, 184 Additional Public Prosecutors who are working as Daily Fees will get Rs 1,875 while they were getting Rs 1,250.

Similarly, Retainer Fees were Rs.8,200 earlier, but now they will be Rs.12,300. Similarly, 740 working Assistant Public Prosecutors were getting Rs 1,100 as Daily Fees, but now they will get Rs 1,650. As regards Retainer Fees, you will get Rs 6,000 while earlier getting Rs 4,000.

85 Special Public Prosecutors who were previously getting Rs 1,250 as Daily Fees will now get Rs 1,875. Regarding Retainer Fees, you will get Rs. 12,300 while earlier getting Rs. 8,200. Similarly, 29 Government Pleaders and 113 Assistant Government Pleaders who were previously receiving Rs 8,200 as Retainer Fees will now receive Rs 12,300.
