At least three people were killed and one remains critical after being hit by a speeding truck at Bargapalli area in Angul district on Thursday.
Redhakhol: At least three people were killed and one remains critical after being hit by a speeding truck at Bargapalli area in Angul district on Thursday.
According to reports, all the four of them were traveling in a bus named Prachi which was heading from Sundergarh to Bhubaneswar. The bus reportedly had a flat tyre near the Bargapalli area so the passengers got down from the vehicle. While they were standing by the road a speeding truck hit four of the passenger, which resulted in the death of three people and one person received serious injuries.
Sources said that two out of the four hit by the truck died while receiving treatment in Rairakhol hospital while one was pronounced dead in the Kishornagar hospital.
