3 critical in wild boar attack in Puri of Odisha, locals terrified

In a tragic incident as many as three people have been critically injured in a wild boar attack in Puri district of Odisha on Friday. 

Puri: In a tragic incident as many as three people have been critically injured in a wild boar attack in Puri district of Odisha on Friday.

Reports say that, two people were injured in the attack of the wild boar while forking in their agricultural land right behind their house. Another fisherman was critically injured in the wild boar attack in Puri while returning home after catching fish from Chilika, said reliable reports.

Further it is worth mentioning that, initially the injured were admitted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) and then to the Brahmagiri Hospital for further treatment.

The injured have ben identified as Ramesh Jena, Ashok Jena and Ramesh Mohanty. The locals have been terrified since the attack. They have urged the Forest Department to take urgent steps in this matter. The Forest Department on the other hand has started an investigation in this regard. They have asked the locals to be cautious.
