Koraput: The three tribal girls, who were allegedly kidnapped from Parajabedapadar in the district, returned to their hostel on their own without any problem around six hours after their abduction this morning.

According to reports, three students of the Parajabedapadar tribal hostel (two class 6 students and a class 9 student) were kidnapped by some unidentified persons in a Bolero when they had gone out to attend nature’s call at around 3 AM today.

The hostel authorities and their parents had lodged a complaint with the Dasmantapur police in this regard. However, the minors returned to the hostel without any harm.

“We do not know who and why kidnapped us while we had gone to attend nature’s call at around 3 AM today. They had tied our hands and legs. Besides, they blindfolded us. They applied something in our mouths and noses following which we became unconscious. When we retained our consciousness, we cried aloud in the forest for help but in vain. Later, we managed to get the way to the hostel and returned here safely,” said the girls in one voice.

Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation into the matter. They are scheduled to question the girls about the incident.
