2 die of diarrhoea in Kantabanji of Odisha, 6 hospitalized

Kantabanji: There has been a diarrhoea outbreak in Kantabanji area of Balangir district in Odisha said reliable reports on Monday.

According to reliable, diarrhea in Kantbanji has been reported after the severe cholera outbreak in Rourkela. As many as two people have died due to diarrhea and more than six people have been hospitalized.

The two deceased are of Pudapadar and Malibahal, they have been identified as Meera Sahu and and Satish Majhi. Meera was admitted to the medical center yesterday after suffering from severe diarrhoea.

Local people have complained that diarrhoea is spreading in various villages of Kantbanji region. It is found that there are two children among the victims. Further detailed reports awaited.
