13 injured in school bus accident in Paradip of Odisha

A school bus of Adamas School in Paradip met with an accident on Tuesday. Two teachers including 11 students were injured.

Paradip: A school bus of Adamas School in Paradip met with an accident on Tuesday. Two teachers including 11 students were injured.

According to reports, a van of the school, which was going to Odisha Model School in Agapal lost control and slipped off to the side of the road at 6 o’clock this morning.

According to reports, 11 students and two teachers of Adams School who were sitting in the vehicle were injured. Pankaj Tarai, president of the Road Safety Force and members reached the spot after receiving the news of the accident.

The students were rescued and sent to Kujang Medical Center with the help of fire brigade personnel and local people. They are undergoing treatment there.

While the police are investigating the incident, the cause the accident is yet to be ascertained. The whereabouts of the van driver is yet to be found. It is believed that the van was carrying a large number of children due to which it lost balance and fell down the road.
