Chennai: Tamil Nadu police imposed a hefty Rs 10,000 fine on a youth for endangering lives through reckless biking and utilizing a creatively modified helmet.

The young rider, identified as S Sujith from Malayan Street in Tenkashi, gained notoriety after posting a video of himself riding recklessly with a helmet adorned with rabbit-like ears and fur-like material. The video quickly went viral, drawing public attention and complaints about the potential hazards caused by the bizarre helmet and dangerous riding.

Concerned locals filed complaints against S Sujith, accusing him of not only jeopardizing his own life but also posing a threat to other innocent road users. The modified helmet, described as highly distracting, prompted the Courtallam police to take swift action.
