Price of Ujjwal gas cylinders decreased by Rs 50 in Rajasthan
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced that the price of gas cylinders under the Ujjwala scheme will be decreased by Rs 50 in Rajasthan.
Jaipur: The newly-elected Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma announced that the price of the gas cylinders under the Ujjwala scheme will be decreased by Rs 50 from January 1, 2024. The price of these cylinders will be slashed from Rs 500 to Rs 450.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma revealed that this reduction of price is part of the BJP’s manifesto for the recently held state elections.
Earlier, in the month of October, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that under the Ujjwala scheme, the beneficiaries will pay Rs 600 for a 14.2 kg cylinder. But now, the price has cut off to Rs 450.
