Patna: In yet another shameful incident, the principal of a private school in Patna’s Phulwarisharif area was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly raping a girl student in the school premises multiple times in the last few months. Moreover, a clerk of the school who had filmed the act was also arrested by the Police.
The incident came to light when the girl started vomiting and medical reports confirmed that she was pregnant. After this, the family of the girl took her to the Mahila police station and filed a complaint against the principal.
The girl has told the police that principal had first raped her in his office by calling her on the pretext of checking her exercise book. After this, she was raped many times in the past nine months on knife-point. She also revealed that the clerk had filmed the entire act and was blackmailing her by threatening to upload the obscene clippings on social media.
Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj said police acted swiftly after the girl’s parents filed the complaint. The principal and the clerk have been and the knife used to threaten the school girl has also been recovered at the principal’s office.
