Indian Air Force officer dies in accident while repairing aircraft in Telangana

Hyderabad: An Indian Air Force (IAF) officer died in an accident while repairing an aircraft at Hakimpet Air Force Station in Telangana.

According to reports, the deceased, identified as Harveer Choudhary, the corporal-rank officer was repairing a U-736 Kiran Aircraft when the seat suddenly ejected, causing a head injury.

Due to severe injury he died on the spot. As per reports, his body has been seized and sent for autopsy.

Meanwhile, the police has registered a case in connection with incident, and an enquiry has been initiated.
