Crime Branch reaches Atishi’s residence in Delhi to serve her notice over ‘poaching’ claims
The crime branch of the Delhi Police arrived at AAP minister Atishi's home, to serve her notice in connection with the AAP's claims poaching.
New Delhi: The crime branch of the Delhi Police arrived at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) minister Atishi’s home, to serve her notice in connection with the AAP’s claims poaching.
Reportedly, Atishi was not at home when the team reached her residence. If she does not arrives at her residence, the notice was likely to be served to Atishi’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD.
The development has come a day after Delhi Police served a notice to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Last week, Kejriwal took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle and alleged that the BJP offered Rs 25 crore each to seven AAP MLAs to quit the party in order to topple his government.
Shortly after Kejriwal’s tweet, Minister Atishi held a press conference and alleged that the BJP had launched “Operation Lotus 2.0” in Delhi.
“They had made a similar attempt to poach AAP MLAs last year by offering them money but failed,” the minister said.
