Karnataka: In a tragic incident, three people lost their lives while six other were injured in a blast at a firecracker company in Karnataka. The blast took place at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Dakshina Kannada district during the evening hours on Sunday, confirmed reliable reports.
Reportedly, a total of nine people were present at the site when the blast happened. Initial reports suggest that the impact of the explosion was felt as far as four kilometer.
The exact reason behind the blast at a Firecracker Company in Karnataka is yet to be ascertained. Upon receiving information about the incident, officials from fire brigade department reached the spot and initiated a rescue operation.
The deceased in the blast in Karnataka have been identified as Vargees, Swamy, and Chetan. As per reports, police have taken two people into custody.
