2 dead after MiG-21 chopper crashes in Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh

An Indian Air Force MiG-21 crashes in Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh district on Monday, 2 civilians dead, said defence sources.

Jaipur: An Indian Air Force MiG-21 crashes in Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh district on Monday, defence sources said adding that the pilot is safe.

According to reports, the aircraft has taken off from Suratgarh.

The pilot and the co-pilot jumped from the aircraft in time and landed safely in the drain area with the help of a parachute.

As per the latest information, two civilian women died and a man was injured as the plane crashed on their house in Bahlolnagar district in Hanumangharh. Rescue operation is underway, SP Sudhir Chaudhary said.
