The Lord Balaji temple in Tirupati has created a new record with the highest net worth of three lakh crore rupees.

In recent news, the Lord Balaji temple in Tirupati has created a new record with the highest net worth of three lakh crore rupees. This comes after the net worth of the temple was compared with the market capitalisation of major stock market listed companies in India.

Net worth of other major companies of India like TATA, Nestle, and Bajaj Finserv has been valued at Rs 2.6 lakh crores, while the net worth of Tirupati Balaji temple stands at three lakh crore rupees.

As reported by News18, the net worth of total assets Sri Venkateswara Swamy stands somewhere at Rs 2.5 lakh crore. This was as per calculations in the white paper released by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) about 14 months back.

Data from reliable sources also says that the Hundi of Lord Balaji in Tirumala has an annual income of Rs 1,400 crore. This lies much more than the annual income of stars like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. Sachin and Virat’s annual income stands at Rs 1300 crore and Rs 1000 crore, annually.

The income at the shrine comes through numerous sources. These include direct offerings, interest on fixed deposits, donations from devotees and trust funds among others.

TTD’s Executive Officer Dharma Reddy recently made an official announcement of the details of the assets of Lord Balaji. In a noteworthy mention, 11,225 kg of gold was found deposited in the name of Lord Balaji in numerous banks.

Other assets include 1.2 tons of golden ornaments and 10 tons of silver ornaments on the presiding deity. Further, 6,000 acres of forest land and properties of 7,636 acres are also included.
