Bhubaneswar: In a rare, strange but interesting development it has been reported that a Bhubaneswar boy demanded immediate power supply to his paternal house in the capital city in dowry.
If a report is to be believed the incident took place in Naharakanta area in the outskirts of the capital city. The boy’s going to be father in law is an official with the electrical development.
After the recent devastation by cyclone Fani on May 3, 2019 the whole electricity infrastructure collapsed in the city and since then the city is living in darkness. Of course, so far power supply has been resumed at some places. While people in the city languishing in darkness without power supply and trying their best to get a solution, perhaps the boy thought this was the best idea.
However, while power supply is yet to resume at most of the places in Bhubaneswar this weird development has provided input for a smile to the denizens who are still living in a miserable condition in short of power, water, cash money, internet and online transacition facilities.
