Cuttack: The village of flowers Sadhusahi and Bramhanabhuin in Odisha’s Cuttack district have flowers everywhere. One can find flowers in the fields, meadows, gardens and courtyards of these two villages in Cuttack district of Odisha. Even houses are often seen decked up with natural flowers. These villages are situated in the Nischintakoili Block of Cuttack district.
As per reports, in these two villages, people yield flowers along with other traditional farming. These two villages are Isanibarampur Madhusahi and Bramhanabhuin.
The two villages are adjacent to each other. If you visit this village, you will feel like you have entered into a garden. There are many types of flowers seen here.
Not only fields, the villagers also decorate their houses with flowers here.
It has been learnt that many of these villagers have adopted flower farming as their main occupation. Women help in this farming. The educated youth of these villages don’t run behind job, rather they reap well from flower farming. And in lieu of flower farming, these two villages have carved a niche for themselves.
