Youth arrested for illegally uploading content of Odia movie Ram on YouTube
Berhampur: The Crime Branch of Odisha Police today arrested a youth on charges of uploading the original content of Odia movie ‘Ram’ on YouTube without permission.
According to Crime Branch IG Shefeen Ahmed, actor and producer of the movie ‘Ram’ Arindam Roy, had filed a complaint alleging that a man had uploaded the original content of the movie ‘Ram’ on YouTube and Telegram without permission.
Acting on the allegation of Roy, the Crime Branch started an investigation and arrested the accused, whom they identified as Sibaram Pradhan, a water plumber, the IG added.
Meanwhile, the cybercrime wing of the State Police is interrogating the accused after taking him on remand following his arrest, said sources.
