Jagatpur Police in Cuttack City today arrested two persons after seizing 18 grams of brown sugar from their possessions.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of cops from the Jagatpur Police station conducted a raid near Jagatpur truck terminal and arrested the accused whom they identified as Gautam Ranasingh and Loknath Roul, informed Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Pinak Mishra.
The raid was conducted while the accused were standing at the spot to find customers to sell the contraband, added the DCP.
The accused will be forwarded to the court following their medical examination, said sources.
