In the early hours of Monday’s trading session, India’s benchmark stock indices, Nifty 50 and Sensex, witnessed a relatively stable start. Nifty 50 stood at 19,762.80, while Sensex was recorded at 66,290.24. However, Nifty Bank saw a minor dip of 0.1% at 44,237.40.
Several prominent stocks are on investors’ radar today, including Avenue Supermarts, Tata Motors, Dalmia Bharat, Texmaco Rail, Kalpataru Power, and HDFC Life.
Mahindra Logistics, despite a 21.5% drop in its stock value this year, is in the green for the third consecutive day, with an impressive gain of nearly 6%.
Tata Motors’ stock is inching closer to its record high of Rs 677.80, which was achieved during today’s trading session. The company has been in the green for five of the last eight trading sessions, indicating a positive trend.
The Nifty PSU Bank index stands out as the top gainer among sectoral indices, showing a 0.6% increase. With the exception of Bank of India and SBI, all the remaining ten stocks in the index are in positive territory.
