Share Market update: Sensex below 66000, Nifty hovers around 19800

New Delhi: The benchmark equity indices opened on a flat note on Wednesday. In the early trade, the NSE Nifty 50 opened flat at 19,784, while the BSE Sensex opened at 65,839.62 down 91.15 points.
At 11 am, The Sensex was up 53.31 points or 0.08 percent at 65,984.08, and the Nifty was up 19.90 points or 0.10 percent at 19,803.30.
Meanwhile, the broader indices Bank Nifty index down 25.55 points at 43,663.60. The other sectoral indices also opened on a mixed note on Wednesday.
The top gainers on NSE Nifty 50 index were BPCL, Cipla, Power Grid, Hero MotoCorp, and Dr Reddy’s Labs.
Hindalco Industries, Adani Enterprises, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Eicher Motors, and IndusInd Bank are the top laggards on NSE Nifty 50 on Wednesday.
