Sensex over 66900, Nifty trades above 19100 in early trade
The NSE Nifty 50 was up 0.05% to open at 20,108.50, while the BSE Sensex was at 66,963.20 up 61.29 points in the early trade today.
New Delhi: The benchmark stock market indices opened higher on Thursday. The BSE Sensex up 61.29 points while opening at 66,963.20 and the NSE Nifty 50 opened at 20,108.50 up 0.05%. The broader indices opened largely in green. The Bank Nifty index opened at 44,711.20 up 144.75 points. The other sectoral indices posted a mixed opening on Thursday.
The top gainers on the NSE Nifty are Hero MotoCorp, UltraTech Cement, BPCL, Dr Reddy’s Labs and Eicher Motors in the early trade on Thursday.
On November 29, the domestic indices ended on a strong note with Nifty above 20,000 for the first time after September 20, 2023 and Sensex was up 727.71 points or 1.10 percent at 66,901.91.
