The Maserati Grecale SUV has been globally unveiled in March 2022 and is offered in three variants- GT, Modena and Trofeo.

Maserati is all set to launch the Gracale SUV in India in the early part of 2024. The SUV has been globally unveiled in March 2022 and is offered in three variants- GT, Modena and Trofeo. As reported by Autocar India, all three variants of the car will be available in India.

The Maserati Grecale will be positioned above the Porshe Macan in India. It is expected that the GT, Modena and Trofeo variants of the Grecale will be costlier than the standard, S and GTS variants of the Macan. The brand had previously spoken about focusing on expanding its network in India.

What do we know about Grecale?

The Maserati Grecale gets three engine options. The GT and Modena variants get twin-turbocharged 2.0-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine that is tuned to different tunes. On the other hand, the top-spec Trofeo variant gets retuned version of 3.0-litre Nettuno V6.

The 2.0 four-cylinder engine in the GT variant makes 300hp and 450Nm. On the other hand, the Modena variant makes 330hp and 450Nm. The top variant i.e. Trofeo manages to make 530hp and 620Nm. In terms of acceleration the Trofeo engine can go from 0-100kph in 3.8 seconds while Modena can go from 0-100kph in 5.3 seconds. The base GT variant manages 0-100kph in 5.6 seconds.

All engines get 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.

When it comes to the interior, the Grecale gets digital driver’s display, 12.3-inch infotainment screen, 8.8-inch touchpad for climate control and new digital clock.
