Ather 450X Apex bookings open for refundable amount of Rs 2,500, Launch soon
Ather Energy has reportedly started taking bookings for a yet-to-be-released 450X Apex electric scooter for a refundable amount of Rs 2,500.
Ather Energy has reportedly started taking bookings for a yet-to-be-released 450X Apex electric scooter. As its name suggests it is expected to be a feature rich top of the line model. The company has also confirmed that the deliveries will commence on March 24, 2024.
The teasers released by the company suggest that the Ather 450X Apex electric scooter will be coming with both design and performance upgrades. It is said to be faster than the Ather 450X scooter, which is currently one of the fastest electric scooters in India. It can reach a top speed of 90 km per hour by accelerating from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.3 seconds.
According to the two-wheeler electric scooter, the Ather 450X Apex will have four riding modes of Eco, Ride, Sports, and an advanced Warp+ mode. In the Warp+ mode, the e-scooter can reportedly accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds.
Moreover, the company hints that it would likely sport a transparent design if we look at the teasers that say, “Nothing to hide, the only scooter that dares to bare.” Ather shared a teaser of the 450X Apex on X with the caption “A few members from the Ather community rode our FASTEST SCOOTER YET.”
The teaser shows a race between the current Ather 450X and the upcoming 450X Apex in a fully fully camouflaged. At the end of the race, the new Apex scooter wins which means it will be faster than the current 450X. The faster speed is said to be attained through the Warp+ mode, which will likely replace the Warp mode.
Moreover, the teaser also hinted towards the multiple levels of brake generation.

The upcoming electric scooter is expected to be equipped with a 3.7 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be charged from 0-80% charge in 3.5 hours via a home charger and 0-50% in just 10 minutes with a fast charger.
It could feature a 7-inch touchscreen dashboard that will display the riding details. It could also pack Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, music control, and over-the-air updates.
Ather 450X Apex electric scooter bookings
The soon-to-be-launched electric scooter is currently available for reservation for a fully refundable amount of Rs 2500. According to reports, the new Apex scooter will be priced higher than the Ather 450X, which is currently priced at Rs 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom).
Ather started the bookings for the Apex 450 on December 15, 2023. You can reserve an Ather Apex 450 for yourself at a refundable amount of Rs 2,500. The company will start delivering the vehicle across 27 cities in India starting from March 2024.
