Mahindra working on 2024 Mahindra XUV400 facelift, Coming soon
The Mahindra XUV400 Facelift is speculated to launch in India with new features and design upgrades within three months of next year.
Mahindra & Mahindra, one of India’s largest automobile maker, is reportedly planning to upgrade the XUV400, which made its domestic debut in India on January 16, 2023. Within one year of its launch, the SUV will receive its first update. The Mahindra XUV400 Facelift is speculated to launch with exterior and interior upgrades in India in early 2024. Upon its launch, it is expected to rival the feature-rich popular electric vehicle Tata Nexon EV.
The Mahindra XUV400 facelift is expected to pack more features than the current version. Among the new additions, what’s expected is a bigger infotainment system of 10.25 inches in place of the seven-inch screen seen in the XUV300, which has been declared obsolete. The other new features will likely be the wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
It is still not known whether the SUV will get the ADAS features and the 360-degree camera system. However, the company might add some other additional safety features.
Mahindra offers two variants of XUV400 (EC and EL) with 34.5 kWh and a 39.4 kWh battery pack, respectively. The EC variant with the 34.5 kWh battery is claimed to offer a range of 375 km and the larger 39.4 kWh cell in the EL can last up to 456 km on a single charge.
The battery powers the electric motor producing 150 hp of power. Currently, the XUV400 SUV is offered with up to Rs. 4 lakh discounts by the company as the year is coming to an end.
Apart from the XUV400 facelift, Mahindra is also expected to introduce over five new SUVs in 2024 including the five-door Thar lifestyle SUV, XUV.e8 based on the XUV700. The XUV.e8 will be based on the INGLO platform and is said to have a range of well over 450 km.
Moreover, the company is also planning to hike the prices of some select models starting January 2024.
