Honda has unveiled its sub-500cc motorcycle, the CB300R for the international markets. The KTM 390 Duke-rival might arrive in India in the near future. The company has not shared any information regarding it’s price yet. The changes to the 2024 iteration of the CB300R are limited to styling upgrades. 2024 Honda CB300R
The 2024 CB300R has been introduced in Matte Black Metallic and Pearl Dusk Yellow colors. Both these paint schemes will go on sale in the US very soon. Meanwhile, the colour options available for the current model sold in India include Matte Steel Black and Pearl Spartan Red.
The latest CB300R model continues to feature a neo-retro styling which includes a round headlight at the front along with an aggressively shaped fuel tank. It also retains the radiator shrouds, an engine cowl, split-style seats, and a side-slung exhaust. It has received a brushed aluminium finish for the tip and the heat shield of eh canister.
2024 Honda CB300R specifications
The 2024 Honda CB300R is offered with the same single-cylinder 286cc liquid-cooled engine, which delivers a maximum output of 30.7bhp at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 27.5Nm at 7,500rpm. It is paired to a six-speed gearbox.

The bike is equipped with similar hardware as its predecessor as well. The 2024 CB300R sports a 296mm petal-type front disc and a 220mm petal-tyle rear rotor. The suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock. The bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels are shod in Dunlop-sourced 150/60R-17-section rear and 110/70R-17-section front tyres.
The 2024 Honda CB300R features full-LED lighting for headlight, indicators, and taillight, a digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and a slipper clutch mechanism. The onboard inertial measurement unit (IMU) aims to deliver a precise front-to-rear distribution of ABS operation. However, it misses out on a Bluetooth module.
2024 Honda CB300R India launch details
Honda has not made any official announcement regrading the India launch details for the 2024 Honda CB300R yet. However, we may see the updated model in our market in early 2024. Once launched, the 2024 Honda CB300R will rival the likes of the KTM 390 Duke, the TVS Apache RR310-based roadster, and the BMW G 310 R in India.
