Cuttack: In a perilous instance, a kid climbed atop a Telephone tower without knowing the consequence in Cuttack district of Odisha on Monday. Fortunately, he was rescued after one hour of tough effort.
The kid has been identified as Rahul, son of Kailash Sethi of Patasundara village.
As per reports, the five year old kid climbed 40 feet high Telephone tower in the Patasundara village under Kantapada block of the district. After reaching the top he spent some time and tried to get down but in vain, and so started crying.
Witnessing the incident, people rushed to the spot. A youth of the village named Prashanta Behera climbed up the tower and took hold of the boy. Soon, Fire personnel from Adaspur reached the spot and rescued the two from atop the tower unhurt.
