A fake video is being posted to social media that claimed about assassination attempt on Saudi Crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman. This unconfirmed reports with a video clip is being shared that claims about the assassination attempt in Riyadh. However, it has been found that this is a false claim and the video is related to some other incident.
An X handle named Winter Intel (@wntrintel) posted a video today on X platform (Formerly Twitter) and wrote in the caption, “Arab sources are reporting an assassination attempt against Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman”.

However, as per reports, the video was about a fire mishap in Riyadh that had been dealt with by the Civil Defense on March 16, 2024.
Furthermore, several Saudi journalists confirmed that this video belongs to an old accident.
Shayan Sardarizadeh, BBC journalist claimed the attempt as “totally baseless.” He took to X and wrote in the caption of a post, “A totally baseless claim about an assassination attempt on Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is going viral on X after being shared by fake osint accounts and well-known misinformation spreaders seeking engagement.”
