Vivo V29e launch in India on August 28: Key specifications, price leaked

Vivo is all set to launch it’s latest V series smartphone Vivo V29e in India on August 28. Ahead of the official launch of the device, the price and specifications of the phone have been leaked. Vivo has also revealed some of its design and key specifications to build the hype around the smartphone.

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo V29e will come with a 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) for stable videos and crisper images. The smartphone has also been teased to feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

The Vivo V29e has a slim design with a curved display, and a colour-changing back panel, similar to the Vivo V25. However, the color changing technology will be only available for the red variant.

The Vivo V29e measures 7.57mm in thickness, making it relatively thicker than the Edge 40’s 7.49mm body.

As per leak report, the phone will be equipped with a 6.73-inch display, a 4,600mAh battery with 33W charging support and Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus SoC with 8GB of RAM.

Vivo claims that the 50MP selfie camera will support “Eye Auto Focus” for better and more reliable focus. The company is again boasting its night portrait abilities, which have been the focus of the last few Vivo V-series phones.

The website states, “With 64 megapixels and OIS, you can illuminate dim environments and capture stable, brighter night portraits with unmatched clarity and detail.”

The Vivo V29e is tipped to be priced at Rs 25,000 in India. It remains unclear if there is going to be more than one storage configuration.
