Tecno Pova Neo launched with dual rear cameras, 6,000mAh battery; Check price, specs

Tecno has launched its latest entry-level smartphone in Nigeria. The smartphone is called Tecno Pova Neo and comes with dual rear cameras, headlined by a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 120Hz refresh rate display and a massive 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The latest phone is a successor of the Tecno Pova 2 which was launched in June this year. The smartphone is available in three different colour options and a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration.

Tecno Pova Neo price, availability

The price and availability details of the new Tecno Pova Neo has not been listed in Tecno’s official Nigerian website. The handset is currently listed on the e-commerce website Jumia.com for NGN 75,100 (around Rs 13,800) for the sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option. It is offered in three colour options– Geek blue, Obsidian, and Powehi.

However, currently there is no information on Tecno Pova Neo’s launch details in India and other global markets.

Tecno Pova Neo specifications

Speaking about the specifications, the Tecno Pova Neo runs on Android 11 with HiOS 7.6 on top. The latest Tecno phone comes equipped with a 6.8-inch HD+ display with 720×1,640 pixels of resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 84.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a pixel density of 262ppi. The device is powered by an unknown octa-core MediaTek chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

Tecno Pova Neo features a dual rear camera unit with quad flash. The dual camera set up includes a 13-megapixel main sensor. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel sensor at the front, which is placed inside a hole-punch cutout. The selfie camera is accompanied by dual flash.

Connectivity options on Tecno Pova Neo include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, GPRS, FM radio, and OTG. The phone also has g-sensor, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor and fingerprint scanner.

It packs a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The battery is claimed to deliver up to 24 hours of music playback time, up to 20 hours of video playback time, and up to 40 hours of calling time. The company also claims that Clash of Clans can be played on Tecno Pova Neo for up to three hours with just a 15-minute of charge.
