Samsung Galaxy A05 has been launched in India. It is currently available for purchase on Croma website at a starting price of Rs 12,999. The device packs a Helio G85 SoC, a 6.7″ HD+ LCD display, and runs Android 13. It comes in three colour option and two memory options, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy A05 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A05 runs Android 13 based OneUI 5.1 and packs a 6.7″ HD+ LCD display with 1,600 x 720 pixels resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The device carries a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with Mali G52 GPU, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It packs up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage that supports expansion up to 1TB via a microSD card.
It features a dual camera at the back. The unit houses a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth shooter along with an LED flash unit. For selfies and video calls the Galaxy A05 has an 8MP camera on the front in a centre-aligned waterdrop notch at the top of the display.
The device packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support.
Connectivity option of the handset include 4G, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.3, USB 2.0, GPS, Glonass, and USB Type-C connectivity. It is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and also has a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 168.8mm x 78.2mm x 8.8mm in size and weighs 195 grams.
Samsung Galaxy A05 price, availability
Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy A05s in September, which was launched in India last month. It is available for purchase in 4GB RAM + 64GB variant, priced at Rs 12,499, and the 6GB RAM + 128GB model is priced at Rs 14,999 on Croma website. The Samsung Galaxy A05 is offered in Black, Light Green, and Silver colour options. The smartphone will soon be available through other retailers and Samsung’s official website.
