Redmi Pad Pro expected to launch in India after being unveiled in China

Electronic gadgets manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Pad Pro tablet in China in the last week and the device is expected to launch in other markets soon. According to recent reports, the Redmi Pad Pro tablet will be available in global markets (including India) later this year. The device will be available with 5G support too in certain markets.

According to the latest reports, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G was spotted on the Google Play Console database and it sported a model number 24074RPD2I. The ‘I’ mentioned at the end of the model number suggests that the tablet will be available for the Indian market. The Google Play Console also mentioned a model number with 2405CRPFDL and this is the variant for the Latin America market. On the other hand, the model number for all other global markets is 2405CRPFDG. It is important to mention that the Global model as well as the Latin America version does not offer 5G support on their versions.

Specifications

The Redmi Pad Pro will be offered with 8GB of RAM for the international markets. The China version does have a 6GB RAM variant too. The display of the tablet is 12.1” and offers a refresh rate of 120Hz. The IPS LCD touchscreen offers a 600-nits peak brightness. Speaking about the SoC, we get Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC with internal storage of 128GB or 256GB. The cameras on the device include 8MP front camera along with a battery capacity of 10,000 mAh. The wired charging that is available on the device is 33W. It offers Android 14 with HyperOS 1.0 on top.

As the tablet came with keyboard case and stylus in the China market, we expect the same for the internally available variants too. The company might offer a provision to make the keyboard case as well as the stylus separately.
