OnePlus 12 has officially been launched in China with prices starting at CNY 4,299 (around Rs 50,600). The OnePlus 12 comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, wireless charging, a periscope telephoto lens, and more.
The new OnePlus flagship smartphone will arrive in global markets, including India in early 2024. Leak reports have suggested that the latest OnePlus device will be launched in India on January 24, 2023.
OnePlus 12 specifications
OnePlus 12 packs a 6.82-inch QHD+ 2K OLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 4,500 nits of peak brightness, the highest ever on a smartphone. It is the first smartphone with a 2K display with the highest level of DisplayMate A+ certification. It delivers a vibrant viewing experience with Dolby Vision, 10Bit Color Depth, ProXDR, 2160Hz PWM dimming and ‘Rain Touch’ support.
Under its hood, the phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. OnePlus 12 is IP65 rated for dust and water resistance.
OnePlus 12 sports a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary camera with OIS, a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide angle lens, and a 64MP OV64B periscope lens with 3x telephoto zoom. The smartphone houses a 32MP Sony IMX615 front camera for selfies and video calls.
It is backed by a 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. This is the first time OnePlus has added wireless charging support on its flagship lineup. It’s also equipped with OPPO’s SUPERVOOC S power management chip.
The otehr features of OnePlus 12 include NFC, USB Type-C port. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor for security purposes.
OnePlus 12 price in China, availability details
OnePlus 12 price in China is set at CNY 4,299 (aroundRs 50,600) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 4,799 (around Rs 56,500). OnePlus 12 comes in two more variants of 16GB + 1TB and 24GB + 1TB, which are priced at CNY 5,299 (around Rs 62,400) and CNY 5,799 (around Rs 68,200), respectively.
It is offered in in three colour options -green, black and white. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting December 11th in China. OnePlus is expected to launch the phone globally early next year.
