Moto Edge 40 to get attractive offers on launch day, price accidentally revealed

Moto Edge 40 is expected to launch on May 23 and the prices of the smartphone has been leaked ahead of launch. However, the company has pulled down the banner indicating the price. Even though the company was quick to pull down the banner, some tipsters managed to capture the banner.

According to a post by Tipster- Debayan Roy (on Twitter) the price of Moto Edge 40 will be Rs 27,999 (which includes introductory offers). The price of the Moto Edge 40 is Rs 29,999 but after the offer it will be available for Rs 27,999. The pre-order of the smartphone will start at 23^rd May. The company is also offering EMIs that start at Rs 5000 per month.

If the leaked prices are anywhere close to the original price, the smartphone will be one of the best devices to be offered around Rs 30,000.

Motorola Edge 40 will offer a 6.5-inch pOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. The display supports a refresh rate of 144Hz. The display offers 2400 x 1080 pixels while the maximum brightness is 1200 nits.

The device is powered by the Dimensity 8020 SoC and is paired with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It runs Android 13 OS out of the box. It packs a 4,400 mAh battery with 68W wired turbo power fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone will also receive Android 14 OS, but the exact timeline remains unclear.

The camera department is handled by a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera is a 50MP sensor (f/1.4) with OIS while the secondary camera is a 13MP (f/2.2). The Secondary camera is an ultrawide camera and also offers Macro Vision. In the front users get a 32MP (f/2.4) front camera that is housed in a punch-hole display. The phone has IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and comes with stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos.
