KTM RC 125 ABS Launched In India At Rs 1.47 Lakh

New Delhi: KTM has launched the much-awaited KTM RC 125 in India at Rs. 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The design of the motorcycle has been inspired by the KTM RC16, which is the company’s MotoGP machine.

The RC 125 gets the company’s steel trellis frame, upside down forks by WP and a triple clamp handlebar as well. It uses the same 124 cc single-cylinder engine which makes 14.3 bhp of max power and 12 Nm of peak torque and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The bike’s braking performance comes from a 300 mm disc up at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear. Like the KTM 125 Duke, the RC 125 too gets a Bosch single-channel ABS and rear-lift mitigation (RLM) as standard.

Other prominent features include twin projector headlamps with daytime running lamps and a digital instrument console. The motorcycle has a ground clearance of 157 mm and has a weight of 154.2 kg.

The KTM RC 125 is about Rs. 17,000 more expensive than the KTM 125 Duke but is substantially cheaper than the RC 200.

The new KTM RC 125 ABS will rival the likes of Yamaha R15 V3.0 in the market.
