Is Xiaomi 13 Ultra a worthy rival to Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a price tag of Rs 71,500 (initial variant) and can be pitched against the Samsung Galaxy S23 which costs Rs 1.25 lakh for the initial variant.

Smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship Xiaomi- 13 Ultra in China. The smartphone offers Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC processor, a 2K display and many more. However, we are unsure about its launch date in India yet.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has been launched in India and we are quite happy about it. The flagship device of Samsung has top-notch specs and is quite powerful in terms of performance. However, a buyer has to spend more than Rs 1 lakh in order to get the device.

To be precise, Xiaomi- 13 Ultra which has a price tag of CNY 5,999 (apx INR 71,500) can be pitched against the S23 Ultra which has a price tag of Rs 1.25 lakh (initial variant) in India.

Here in this article, we have a comparative analysis of the Xiaomi- 13 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, side by side in detail.

Display and Processor

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra packs a 6.73″ 2K AMOLED LPTO display that offers 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR 10+ resolution, P3 colour Gamut with Dolby Vision and gets Gorilla Glass Victus protection. In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra gets a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The smartphone is expected to be paired with 16 GB of RAM and up to 12GB of expandable storage.

In the other hand, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and offers a 6.8-inch AMOLED display (3088 x 1440) along with a LTPO screen. The Galaxy S23 Ultra gets an Infinity O display that offers a refresh rate up to 120Hz.

The Dimension of Xiomi 13 Ultra is 163.2 x 74.6 x 9.1 mm while the weight is 227 grams. Similarly, the Galaxy S23 Ultra measures 78.1mm x 163.4mm x 8.9mm is size and weighs 233 grams. Apart, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and it offer up to 1TB of storage space.

Camera

For taking clear visuals, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra offers a 50MP quad rear camera setup. It includes 50 MP Sony IMX989 primary camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, 50MP telephoto camera (super-telephoto sensor), and another 50MP camera (3x optical zoom). The front camera of the device is a 32MP selfie camera. Conversely, the Galaxy S23 Ultra gets a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor alongside three other 10MP telephoto lenses and a 12MP ultrawide camera.

Battery

When it comes to battery, both the smartphone are powered by 5000 mAh batteries and both devices support the fast charging feature.
