The price of the upcoming iQOO 12 smartphone has leaked ahead of its debut in the Indian market on December 12. The Chinese smartphone maker has unveiled some key details of specifications and features of the handset through teasers. The Indian variant of the iQOO 12 is tipped to have a starting price of Rs 50,999.

Known tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) has shared an X post about the iQoo 12 5G on Wednesday. The posts includes an image of the retail box of the iQoo 12 5G. The image shows that handset will be priced between Rs 50,999 and Rs 59,999. The tipster states that the MRP will be Rs 56,999. He further stated that the handset will be available in two storage variants of 12GB RAM/256GB and 16GB/512GB.
iQOO 12 specifications
The Indian variant of the iQOO 12 looks identical to the previously released Chinese model. The specifications of the device will likely be similar to the Chinese varianta as well. The Chinese variant iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch Flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixel resolution and a high 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It also has iQOO’s proprietary e-sports chip Q1 and the Adreno 750 GPU.
It runs the Android 14-based OriginOS 4. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for rapid 120W fast charging.
The iQOO 12 captures stunning pictures with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50MP main camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. At front, it sports a 16MP selfie camera.
Meanwhile, iQOO recently cut down the price of its iQOO 11 models in India by up to Rs 13,000. After the price cut, the starting price of the device is down to Rs 49,999. The price is expected to fall further after the launch of the iQOO 12.
