iQOO 12 5G launch in India on December 12, Pre-booking starts in India

The iQOO 12 5G smartphone pre-booking has started in the country on Amazon. Buyers can get a priority pass for a refundable payment of Rs 999.

The Chinese smartphone maker iQOO is set to launch the iQOO 12 5G in India on December 12. Ahead of the official launch, the iQOO 12 5G smartphone pre-booking has started in the country on Amazon and iQOO India Store. The teasers so far have confirmed that the Indian model of the iQOO 12 is identical to the Chinese model.

The upcoming iQOO 12 5G is available for pre-booking via Amazon India and and the iQOO Store in India. Upon pre-booking via Amazon India, customers will receive a priority pass for a refundable payment of Rs 999. The priority pass will offer many benefits including a 24-hour early access period to order the upcoming smartphone. They will also get a free Vivo TWS worth Rs 2,999 on the purchase of the device.

Though there is no information about the exact cost of the upcoming smartphone, a reports has suggested that it be cheaper than the launch price of it’s predecessor.

iQOO 12 specification

The iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch Flat AMOLED display with 1260 x 2800 pixel resolution and a high 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with iQOO’s proprietary e-sports chip Q1. It packs LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

The device runs on the Android 14-based OriginOS 4 custom user interface.

The handset features a triple camera setup at the rear and a single selfie camera. The rear cameras include a 50MP main camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. At front, it is equipped with a 16MP camera.

The device draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports rapid 120W fast charging.
