Infinix is all set to launch the Smart 8 smartphone in India at 12 pm (local time) on January 13, 2024. The e-commerce platform Flipkart has showcased the smartphones in a live page on its website. The pages have also listed the key specifications and features of the smartphone. Only the price revelation of the smartphone is awaited.
The key specifications of the Smart 8 include 90Hz punch-hole display measuring 6.6-inch, 5,000mAh battery, and 50-megapixel primary camera.
In December 2023, Infinix unveiled the Infinix Smart 8 HD smartphone in India for Rs 6,299. Meanwhile, the Infinix Smart 8 is said to be priced below Rs 7,000 in the Indian market. The device has been listed on the website in four shades of Rainbow Blue, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White.

The key specifications confirmed for Infinix Smart 8 are 6.6-inch LCD punch-hole display with 90Hz refresh rate, segment first side-facing fingerprint scanner and and interactive Magic Ring. The screen will offer an HD+ resolution. The Infinix Smart 8 will be the first phone in the affordable segment to offer an interactive Magic Ring that shows notification animations on either side of the punch-hole. The phone will also have a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged via a USB-C port.
The phone has been confirmed to sport an 8-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash. It will also feature a 50-megapixel primary rear lens. The phone will support camera features such as portrait mode and AR shot.
Neither Flipkart nor Infinix has revealed the processor details of the phone. But, it has been confirmed to carry 4 GB of RAM, 4 GB of virtual RAM, and 64 GB of storage.
