Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro with 50MP Zeiss triple camera launched in India: Price, specs details here

Vivo introduced the X100 and X100 Pro powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9300 SoC in the Indian market on Thursday.

Vivo introduced the X100 and X100 Pro powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 SoC in the Indian market on Thursday. The highlights of the phones are triple rear camera units co-engineered by Zeiss, curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display with120Hz refresh rate, IP68-rated build, and large battery with fast charging.

The handsets made their debut in China first. They arrived in India after the global market. Check their price, specifications and features below:

Vivo X100 Pro, Vivo X100 price in India, availability

The Vivo X100 is offered in two storage variants and colour options, while the Vivo X100 Pro comes in a single variant and colour shade of Asteroid Black. The 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model of Vivo X100 is priced at Rs 89,999 while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option of Vivo X100 costs Rs 63,999 and the higher  16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant price tag is set at Rs. 69,999. The Vivo X100 is offered in Asteroid Black and Stargaze Blue colour options.

The smartphones can be pre-booked now at via Flipkart, the Vivo India online store. However, the official sale will begin on January 11. SBI and HDFC bank cards making the pre-booking for the new Vivo phones can get up to 10 percent cashback and up to Rs. 8,000 upgrade bonus.

Vivo X100, X100 Pro specifications

The Vivo X100, and Vivo X100 Pro are IP68-rated for water and dust resistance and have similar SIM, software, and display specifications. However, they have different camera specs, and battery, and fast charging support. Both the devices support dual nano SIM and has a 6.78-inch (1,260 x 2,800 pixels) AMOLED 8T LTPO curved display, and are powered by an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and runs Android 14-based FunTouch OS 14. However, the X100 pro has Vivo’s new V3 imaging chip, while the X100 only has the Vivo V2 chip.

The display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3000nits of peak brightness, and 2160Hz high-frequency dimming.

Both the Vivo X100, X100 Pro have a Zeiss branded triple rear camera setup. However, the Vivo X100 Pro features 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch type lens with OIS (optical image stabilisation) support and a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor with 100x digital zoom, along with a 50-megapixel Zeiss APO super-telephoto camera with OIS and 4.3x optical zoom. At front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Meanwhile, the X100 packs a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX920 VCS bionic primary lens with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 64-megapixel Zeiss super-telephoto camera with 100x clear zoom. There is a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

The X100 Pro draws power from a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support. Meanwhile, the X100 has a 5,000mAh battery with for 120W fast charging support. It measures 164.05x75x8.49mm and weighs 202 grams. The X100 Pro weighs 225 grams and measures 164.05×75.28×8.91 mm.

Connectivity options on both phones include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a USB Type-C port, NFC, GPS, NavIC, and OTG. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, and infrared remote control. The handset has an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
