Google I/O 2024 dates unveiled: What to expect from the Annual Developer Conference

Google I/O 2024, the annual developer conference of Google is all set to be held on May 14. The event will begin from 10.00 am ET (10.20 pm IST). Even though Google I/O is used to showcase the new developments in software and AI, we are likely to hear about Google products that will launch in the near future.

As per reports, Google is expected to continue its focus on AI this year and might unveil some applications for Android. The company is expected to have something lined up for the affordable devices. The tech giant has an extensive plan for its AI products and now it is about bringing it to a wider audience.

Recently, the Google Pixel 8a model was accidentally leaked by Google and now it is expected that the smartphone might get release. It is also expected that the tech giant might share some details about Android 15 that is already available in the closed beta avatar.

The Google Pixel 8a is expected to be available in four colour options including Obsidian (black), Porcelain (beige), Bay (light blue), and Mint (light green), reported German website winfuture. However, all colours are not expected to offer the top-end 256GB variant. The Obsidian colour will be available in 256GB variant.

A Google Pixel phone was spotted on the BIS certification site with a 5,000 mAh battery. The said phone is expected to be the new Pixel 8a. The leak report has also leaked some expected features and design elements as well as the launch timeline.

At the same time, Google could also have a session on the new-look WearOS 5 version that should carry forward the work done with the battery tech in recent times.

It is worth mentioning here that Google I/O 2024 will be broadcasted in front of a small live audience and is open to everyone online.
