EU App Distribution: App download from websites
The iOS 17.5 is expected to bring the ability for iPhone users in the EU to download apps directly from developers’ websites and not just limited to the content available on the App Store. However, this Web Distribution feature will likely be limited to eligible developers only. In compliance with EU’s Digital Markets Act, Apple will allow iOS 17.5 beta version users in EU to make use of this feature.
Apple ID Recovery Contacts
The Apple ID recovery contacts feature might also get upgraded with the upcoming iOS update. Leak reports have suggested that the changes might not be immediately apparent to users.
