Apple iPhone SE 3, iPad Air 5 pre-orders start, Know price and offers

Tech giant Apple launched the third generation iPhone SE 2022, and the fifth-generation iPad Air at a launch event named, “Peek Performance” on March 8. Now, the pre-order of the recently launched Apple iPhone SE 3 and iPad Air 5 have started in India from 6:30 pm IST yesterday.

Interested customers can pre-order the devices on the official Apple website. The iPhone SE 3 and new iPad Air will be available for retail sales and customer delivery starting 8am, March 18, 2022.

Apple iPhone SE 2022: Price and offers

The iPhone SE 5G is priced at Rs 43,900 for the 64GB model, Rs 48,900 for 128GB option and the 256GB model costs Rs 58,900. All of these variants are available for pre-order in three colours – Midnight, Starlight and PRODUCT RED.

Customers can avail the exchange offer by trading their old phone for the new iPhone SE. Buyers can avail trade-in discount from Rs 9,000 after exchanging iPhone 8 or newer. Apple is also offering the exchange deals for Android smartphone users. You can check the exchange value of your phone on Apple India website by entering the IMEI number.

Redington, which is an authorised Apple retailer and runs the India iStore, is offering Rs 2,000 cashback on iPhone SE on ICICI bank debit and credit cards, Kotak bank debit and credit cards and SBI credit cards at select stores.

Apple iPhone SE 2022 specs

The iPhone SE 5G has mostly similar design as the older iPhone SE 2020. The iPhone SE 5G comes with a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with reinforced glass on the front and back. It is powered by the Apple A15 Bionic chip, which is also used in the Apple iPhone 13 series. The new iPhone SE also supports 5G connectivity.

The phone has a single rear facing 12MP main ƒ/1.8 aperture wide camera. The camera features include Smart HDR 4, Photographic Styles, Deep Fusion, and Portrait mode. The phone also comes with iOS 15 out of the box.

Apple iPad Air 2022: Price and Offers

The iPad Air price starts at Rs 54,900 for the WiFi-only model and Rs 68,900 for the WiFi+ Cellular model. The iPad Air Gen 5 is available in two storage configuration models– 64GB and 256GB– in India. The new iPad Air will go on sale from March 18. The device is available in space grey, starlight, pink, purple, and a new blue shade colour options.

Apple is also offering an EMI scheme on the new iPad Air 2022, starting at Rs 6,461 per month, on its Apple Online Store. You can get the new iPad Air 256 GB variant at an EMI of Rs 8109 per month. Buyers can also take the AppleCare+ package which is worth Rs 8,900, EMI starting at Rs 1047 per month. This package will protect your iPad, Apple Pencil, and Apple branded keyboards from accidental drops and spills for upto 2 years.

You can get Rs 4,000 cash-back on the purchase of the iPad Air with ICICI bank debit and credit cards, Kotakbank debit and credit cards and SBI credit cards at select stores of Redington.

iPad Air 2022 specs

The new iPad Air sports a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of brightness and comes with a P3 wide colour gamut, True Tone, and an anti-reflective screen coating.

The new iPad Air is powered by the new M1 chip with an 8-core CPU, an 8-core GPU and the 16-core Neural Engine powers advanced machine learning (ML) functions.
